Witham took a team to Clacton to support their Charity day in aid of testicular cancer.

A mixture of 1st team, 2nd team and new players headed to Clacton to take part in their Robin Cancer Trust Charity Day. The ground was rock hard and so were the hits. The game was played in great spirit with both sides exchanging scores. Witham's Man of the Match was Rhys Sturman who chased every single cause and tackled whatever came his way. At the final whistle, nobody had managed to keep track of the score but a quick tally up by the ref gave Witham a 36-29 win. But the day was all about raising money and awareness for testicular cancer and although we don't have the final figures, it looks like those targets were well and truly achieved. Thanks go to all the players and supporters as well as Clacton RFC for being great hosts.
