1st XV first win of the season

Waking up on a Sunday getting the win on the Saturday is a great feeling and I hope to build on getting more of this feeling!

We really dominated the 1st half, all in all I think we were generally outstanding. The backs moved the ball fantastically and we were a couple of errors off of killing the game at the end of the first half.

We managed to field position well and showed a real development to where and how we were playing in previous games. Forwards were dominate in every aspect of what we did, set piece, carrying, rucks etc.

We lost our momentum in the 2nd half and South Woodham took the opportunity to get back into the game. We were a little guilty of over playing and forcing errors from ourselves that could have been avoided. Which allowed South Woodham to get back into the game and build their momentum.

I felt we responded to adversity really well, we could have easily gone and lost from the position we were in but, what we did was show real stamina and composure, we had 2 minutes left on the clock and scored in the last phase. Incredibly proud of the performance and some outstanding individuals performances..
