Witham U15's traveled to Canvey Island for a league Fixture. They were met with a well drilled side in Canvey, but Witham managed to break through scoring a brilliant breakaway try through Jayden Wheeler, converted by Joseph Eames. Canvey hit back quickly but it was not level for long with another great try by Witham scored by Toby Watson coming from a Scrum near the Canvey line. In to the second half and Witham Struck again through Luke Poole, pouncing on a loose ball not dealt with by the Canvey defence, converted from a difficult angle by Toby Watson. Canvey were not done yet and scored a great breakaway try with conversion. Witham had the final say with great determination they pressed on and managed to break Canvey's defence once more with another try from Jayden Wheeler, rounding off a solid performance beating a Canvey side who were unbeaten prior to today this season.
